Rose Kennedy Greenway

When the old elevated highway was torn down during the Big Dig in 2003, green space was returned to the city. Running from North Station down to Chinatown, this necklace of parks can be savored through the entire day. Water fountains, historic monuments, food trucks, and pop-up shops invite visitors to enjoy their city in the great outdoors. The Greenway is accessible to the MBTA, busses, and tour trolleys.
