Shows

  • “St. Elsewhere”: This show was set in Boston in a busy hospital. This show was featured on NBC from 1982-1988. Several stars that we know and love played in this show. It was such a popular show and a favorite of many people!

  • “Cheers”: A long-loved favorite, Cheers is an oldie but goodie! Running from 1982 to 1993, the world wanted to get home in time to watch their “favorite show”. This 275-episode show ran for an astounding 11 seasons! Their final episode brought over 80 million views!

  • “City On a Hill”: Jackie Rohr, a retired FBI agent who lives in Boston, was born to Showtime in the early 1990s. Kevin Bacon does an excellent job playing out his role on City On a Hill.

  • “The Practice”: This Emmy winning series won for outstanding drama two years in a row in 1998 and 1999. The series ran from 1997 to 2004 on ABC. The focus of the story was about the lawyers who worked in the office and their associates.

  • "Boston Legal": This was a spin-off of "The Practice" (1997).

  • "John Adams": From 2008, this was a seven-part miniseries on HBO, which won an Emmy. This miniseries featured the life of John Adams, one of the Founding Fathers. 

Podcasts

Monday Morning Podcast: "Last Seen-WBUR" podcast series: A comedy podcast that was hosted by Bill Burr twice a week. This was initially recorded from 2007 to 2012.
