Holocaust Memorial

The New England Holocaust Memorial, built in 1995 and designed by architect Stanley Saitowitz, is dedicated to memorializing the 6 million Jews murdered during the Holocaust. It is intended to serve as a beacon of hope and memory, while asking visitors to combat all types of oppression and bigotry. The project was inspired by Holocaust survivors in Boston, who started efforts to develop a memorial in the city.
