Please come by! You'll meet a lot of friendly people in a non-Zoom setting--it's all very 3D and life-like here!! :o) Our group is diverse with folks from all professions and walks of life. You'll make new contacts, new friends, and have an enjoyable evening getting to know people in our community. Remember: It only takes one person to change your life! We should be there until about 9:00 p.m., so please come by when you can (you don't have to be there at 6:30).

PRICE:

Unless it's your first evening event, which is free (see below), the fee is $10 if paid in advance and is made when you RSVP via PAYPAL.

Meetup is now adding a $1.62 fee for itself (greedy bastards!), so the total will be $11.62. Unfortunately, we can't waive this fee if you register through Meetup. BUT...

...if you don't want to pay it or don't like PayPal, you can use VENMO to pay just $10 instead. Please contact Dan at BatterLaw1@aol.com or message him through Meetup for more info on how to do this outside of the Meetup site.

There are NO REFUNDS, so please only RSVP if you're sure you can attend. If you have to cancel though, kindly change your RSVP.
If there's room after the event starts--and you can RSVP through Meetup until 6:30--you can still attend, but it will cost $15 (cash) at the door. No exceptions! So pre-payment is definitely less expensive.

COVID PROTOCOLS:

Even though this is an outdoor event, please DO NOT RSVP OR ATTEND if you have: (1) Had Covid yourself within the last 10 days; (2) been exposed to anyone with Covid in the last 5 days; or (3) are sick or feeling sick (better safe than sorry!).

Some folks may not want to shake hands, hug, or may keep their distance, so please respect comfort levels. Hand sanitizer will be available.

If you've already paid and then can't attend due to Covid issues, we do not give refunds, but you will be credited $10 internally for another evening event.

IF IT'S YOUR FIRST EVENT: ATTENDING FOR FREE...

If you are new or have never been to an event, YOUR FIRST EVENT IS FREE. That way you can meet us and check out the group. (This only applies if you reside in New England though; if you're visiting from elsewhere, you would have to pay.)

Meetup, however, won't allow you to RSVP without paying, so you must e-mail Dan directly at BatterLaw1@aol.com or message him to be put on the RSVP list--and please INCLUDE THE LINK TO YOUR BGP PROFILE. And then be sure to come!

If you don't show and don't change your RSVP, that still counts as your first event and you'll have to pay for the next one. If you're a first-timer, please do NOT just show up at the event without contacting Dan or it will cost $15 to attend.

GETTING THERE BY T:

Getting to TGB is easy by T. Just take the Green or Orange Line to NORTH STATION and walk 2 blocks on Causeway St. to Friend St. TGB is just past Hotel Indigo on the right. You can't miss it!

PARKING:

There's no event at the Garden that night so parking at a nearby garage shouldn't be too expensive for those driving in. But if you don't mind a 10 block walk or so, the Post Office Square Garage has evening parking for a very reasonable $9: https://www.posquare.com/rates-hours/

There are also garages by Gov't Center, on Staniford St., Lomasney Way, and on other nearby streets, but those rates will be higher. There is metered parking on the surrounding streets at that time of day. You may also want to try parking on Cambridge and Blossom Streets as well.
