Renowned for her novels, "The Exhibition of Persephone Q" and "The Visitors," Jessi Jezewska Stevens has established herself as a leading voice in exploring comical yet thought-provoking themes of modern unease in the technological age. Now, with the release of her first collection of acclaimed short fiction, previously featured in prestigious publications such as The Paris Review, Harper's, and Tin House, readers have the opportunity to delve into some of her finest work.

In Ghost Pains, Stevens presents a captivating array of stories where her characters navigate post-party chaos, flirt amidst landscapes of turmoil and conflict, and awaken to find themselves transformed after encountering past flames in new surroundings. Jessi Jezewska Stevens is the acclaimed author of the novels "The Exhibition of Persephone Q" and "The Visitors," in addition to the captivating story collection, "Ghost Pains." Her work spans fiction, criticism, and reporting, appearing in esteemed publications such as Foreign Policy, The Nation, The New York Times, Harper's, The Paris Review, and Granta. A recipient of fellowships from the German-American Fulbright Commission and the Robert B. Silvers Foundation, she currently resides with her partner in Geneva.

Lynn Steger Strong, esteemed author of the novels "Hold Still," "Want," and "Flight," brings her wealth of literary insight to the conversation. Alongside her accomplished writing career, she shares her expertise as a writing instructor at Princeton and Columbia Universities.
