ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Anna Francese Gass, with roots in Italy and upbringing in the U.S., holds Italian cuisine close to her heart. A graduate of the French Culinary Institute, Gass kickstarted her career in the test kitchen at Food52. Her debut cookbook, "Heirloom Kitchen: Heritage Recipes and Family Stories from The Tables of Immigrant Women," published in 2021, garnered widespread acclaim and was featured on Today and Rachael Ray. Renowned for her inventive twists on traditional Italian fare, Gass captivates millions worldwide through her Instagram videos (@annafgass), and makes regular appearances on Good Morning America and Access Hollywood.
