Introduction to West End's Restaurants 

Boston's West End Neighborhood is anchored by Massachusetts General Hospital, the TD Center, and the former Charles Street Jail which is now the Liberty Hotel.  It is bordered by the North End, Beacon Hill, and the Charles River. If you plan to explore Boston, this is a not-to-be-missed neighborhood. 

A&B Burgers

If you are looking for a restaurant that has taken the burger to new gourmet heights, you have come to the right place. With two locations in greater Boston, A&B Burger is poised to bring their own brand of specialty burgers to an even greater audience. A&B began their mission in 2013 and took its name from the offspring of the owners Alex and Ben. 

Burgers are king here, but you can also find small plates, entrées, and salads. You can enjoy an international twist with dishes like bacon egg and cheese poutine and chicken tinga nachos. The burger selection is extensive and a full bar offers wine, cocktails, and a varied beer selection.

Located at Lovejoy Wharf, this restaurant is adjacent to North Station and the TD Center. You can even arrive by water taxi. At Alcove, dining out is an art where coast and farm meet to create a neighborhood restaurant that reflects the values of all those who take great pride in serving their customers. The food selection is distinguished by its quality, not by the number of dishes offered. Appetizers, snacks, and sandwiches predominated with daily dinner specials. Brunch features are offered on Saturday and Sunday

50 Lovejoy Wharf


Located in the historic Liberty Hotel, Scampo offers an Italian-inspired menu with flair. This stylish restaurant is the inspiration of chef Lydia Shire and offers tastes from across the Mediterranean and the Middle East. This is more than a hotel restaurant, it is a destination in the neighborhood. Chef Shire is a James Beard award-winning chef with a vision and the cuisine reflects that. From appetizers like Spanish garlic soup w/ almond milk & peekytoe crab to mains like Chilean sea bass w/ brush of red miso, Okinawan yam & steamed baby bok choy you can expect the finest and freshest ingredients perfectly prepared and presented.
